Free standing, single-handed precision shooting, with a .177 calibre Air Pistol. The discipline allows an unlimited number of sighting (practice) shots and the 40 match shots, to be completed within 75 minutes at the individual competitors’ own pace.

25m Sport Pistol
Free standing, single-handed combination of precision and rapid shooting that internationally is competed with a .22 calibre cartridge pistol. Due to the English firearms laws enforced in 1996, the discipline is shot with a .177 calibre Air Pistol in the Britain.
The 60 competition shots are equally divided into 6 X 5 precision and rapid shots. Precision: 5 competition shots to be fired within 5 minutes. Rapid: shot upon a turning target that is exposed to the shooter for just 3 seconds, and then edged for 7 seconds. This cycle continues non-stop for 5 shots at a time.
