Chagstock is very pleased and proud to support Gorgs in her bid for Gold.

The festival is fun by a not for profit organisation and supports the Devon Air Ambulance and WaterAid as it’s main charities. A family friendly event, Chagstock is in it’s fourth year and has grown every year.

There is a self imposed limit of 5,000 on the attendance in order to retain the feel of a safe, uncrowded and chilled festival.

This year the headliners are THE HOOSIERS supported by Seth Lakeman, The Bad Shepherds, Oysterband and many unsigned/local acts like The Quails, Esteban, Dan Arborise, Matty Matty and an international flavour from Rodney Branigan and Briana Hardyman.

We are a family run business with three of my sons, Lee, Michael and Paul working for me, we also employ eight other qualified technicians and two apprentices.

Our workshop has been fully equipped with brand new equipment which includes; 4-two post lifts for lifting cars and vans; the latest A.T.L. scissor lift MOT Bay; three sets of mobile column lifts for lifting trucks and coaches; and advanced diagnostic equipment for cars and trucks.

We are ATA registered and our recovery technicians are IVR trained and ADR certified. We have a quality system that is accredited to the ISO9001:2000 standard, our recovery services are also accredited to PAS43 and National Highway Sector Schemes: Sector 17 to UKAS standards and we are in the process of obtaining PAS80: BSI Kitemarks. We are also members to the Motor Industry Code of Practice and The Good Garage Scheme. In 2009 we were one of the nominated finalist for the Motor Trader Awards Garage of the Year 2009 for the UK.

Situated in the very centre of Chagford adjacent to the well known emporiums of Webbers and Bowdens , The Ring O’Bells offers good ales, fine wines and excellent home cooked, locally sourced food in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The four en-suite bedrooms have recently undergone extensive refurbishment and offer quality accommodation with attention to detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A full English breakfast is servered in the small dining room at the rear of the bar but should you require an early departure then Continental breakfast can be delivered to your room.

The bar is open to the public from 10.00am until 11.00pm.

Lunch is served from 12 noon until 2.30pm

Dinner from 6.30pm until 9.00pm

Packed lunches are available if pre-ordered from the bar.

Chagford is an ideal centre for visitors wishing to walk on the Moor and you are most welcome to bring your pets on holiday with you. There are many lovely walks close by including the Teign Valley and Fernworthy Reservoir.

The Inner Wheel Club of Okehampton supports Georgina in her bid to obtain a Gold Medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Inner Wheel is a voluntary organisation which has approximately 25,000 members in Great Britain and Ireland. It was formed in 1924, in Manchester, to compliment Rotary and took the name “Inner Wheel” to emphasise the strong links between our two organisations. Our club in Okehampton was founded in 1965 and currently has 25 members.

Inner Wheel has grown to become a World wide organisation where there is a diversity of interests, ages and a difference in cultures. It gives members the opportunity to work together and give hope.

The objects of Inner Wheel are Friendship, Service and International understanding. We achieve these goals through many club events which combine fundraising, personal service and having fun. We also give practical support as well a financial help, locally, nationally and internationally.

A family-run business on the banks of the Teign, the Fingle Bridge Inn has a homely atmosphere with cosy log fires in winter and river terraces to enjoy in good weather. A variety of food is always available, with bar snacks, cream teas and daily specials. The emphasis is on quality produce, ample portions and enjoyable surroundings. Fingle Bridge is a wonderful start or finish to a walk along the Teign Gorge. The ample parking and large function room, (which can seat 120), makes it an ideal venue for business meetings, parties, and weddings, where the photo opportunities are endless.

HH has been a family business since it was founded in 1982. We're based in Chagford within the Dartmoor National Park; at the heart of the West Country. We know it and the holiday cottages we let very well and although we now have an excellent team of 30 (some pictured above) who administer, inspect and help arrange a little over 16,000 bookings a year we retain a 'small firm' ethos where customers automatically come first. It says something that (60%+) of our bookings are from previous customers, their friends, relatives and work colleagues and amazing as it may sound, a fairly standard 99.25% of customers who've responded to our questionnaires in 2007 said they would recommend our services to friends.
